Actors' Theatre of the South seeks to :
Actors' Theatre of the South was formed from the ashes of a failed production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire. After the production imploded due to a number of pressures, the cast and crew decided that the journey wasn't over yet and began percolating on the idea of a Southern born and bred theatre company that strives to feature the full depth and breadth of the Southern experience.
The group have adopted a collaborative model of production that features passion projects of its membership as well as a flexible model of company membership that constantly seeks to expand and diversify the voices we are amplifying.
To that end, new member inquiries are very welcome! Interested artists should send their inquiry and résumé to
info@actorstheatreofthesouth.org!
Those artists who are members of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, differently-abled, and other traditionally marginalized communities are STRONGLY encouraged to reach out!
